Picture North Moravia and Silesia submits to its guests a varied selection of natural beauties and traditional historic monuments. The centre of the region is Ostrava, a town with an interesting museum of mining and an attractive area of miniatures Miniuni in the area of the exhibition grounds at Černá louka. Folk buildings are represented by a set of small wooden log churches and the Walachian open-air museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The lovers of walking tourism and skiing are attracted by numerous places of the Jeseníky and Beskydy Mountains with renowned mountain centres – the Lysá Mountain, Radhošť, Praděd, Pustevny, Ramzovské and Červenohorské saddles. Reminding of the hundred years‘ tradition of the spa are the spas Jeseník, Velké Losiny and Klimkovice. Situated in Kopřivnice is the museum of cars, the tourists are also attracted by a number of technical monuments, including the military fortresses of some time of the Czechoslovak fortification.
