Beer Spa Chodovar – Original Spa Therapy
Since spring, 2006 the family brewery Chodovar offers to its guests original spa therapy. The content of the bath is enriched by a dose of live cultures of brewery yeast and mixture of dried crushed herbs, the surface is covered by characteristic beer foam of caramel colour and the space is aromatized by the scent of freshly brewed dark beer. Moreover, recommended for the stay in the bath is a glass of non-pasteurized Skalní ležák (lager), a drink that contains live cultures of yeast and influences the digestive tract favourably. Helping the rest of the body and soul is also the stay in the reconstructed, in modern manner, hotel u Sládka with calm family atmosphere. In the restaurant Ve Skále the guests may enjoy Old-Bohemian gastronomical specialties prepared according to historic prescriptions and try Chodovar beer directly from the lager cellar. The art of the local brewers is also represented by a number of other beer specialties.

Beer Bath
The actual beer bath is prepared in a rehabilitation tube and has the temperature of 34°C. It consists of water and mineral water IL-SANO in the ratio 1:1. The main admixture is the dark Bath Beer that is produced by traditional method according to protected original prescription exclusively by the chief brewer of the family brewery Chodovar. The favourable temperature of water causes mild and gradual increase of the heart activity and activation of the blood circulation in the whole vascular system. The bath warms the skin and releases the pores of the skin through which, during mild sweating, the harmful substances are flown away from the hypoderm. The mixture of crushed herbs acts as purgative peeling. Beer yeasts transmit to the skin the whole line of B vitamins, proteins and saccharides by which they contribute to its overall elasticity and regeneration. The bath demonstrably improves also the immunity of the body.
